Star/Mesh Networks

Star/Mesh networks have dual functionality which depending on the clients’ requirements can save on bandwidth costs.

With this type of network all remotes have connectivity to the HQ and potentially to each other. When two remotes require connectivity directly between them, the HQ allocates free bandwidth for these remotes to use and the carriers automatically use the allocated bandwidth and frequency for the duration required. This allows interconnecting remotes the flexibility to connect directly ensuring that bandwidth is not wasted by having to connect through the centralised HQ.

CHE can design and implement these networks for their clients ensuring a balance is achieved between cost and functionality.

Star/Mesh Topology

  • Direct (Single-Hop) connectivity to all sites
  • Centralised Data
