Cobbett Hill launches iDirect Evolution and Infinity networks spanning the African continent.

Following on from the successful deployment of Amos 5, Cobbett Hill Earth Station is pleased to announce the launch of two new iDirect networks spanning the African continent.

The two networks (iDirect Evolution and iDirect Infinity) allow for CHE to support clients on either of the iDirect platforms. Launching these networks in parallel ensures that clients of CHE operating on the Infinity platform may upgrade to the Evolution network with minimal fuss.

The Evolution network which boasts Adaptive Coding & Modulation (ACM) technology on the outbound and efficient 2D-16-State Forward Error Correction on the inbound (which is more powerful than the TPC FEC) will allow for more reliable transmission types and better throughput.

These added networks bring versatility to Cobbett Hill's portfolio as they allow Cobbett Hill the ability to help grow their individual clients until they are ready to undertake the progression to fully fledged VNO's (Virtual Network Operators).
